Colocation, bare metal, and private cloud — managed together, under one SLA.

Hybrid infrastructure shouldn’t mean hybrid attention. Summit manages your colocation, bare metal, and private cloud environments from a single team, with consistent monitoring, one point of contact, and 100% uptime SLAs on power and network.

The Problem

Hybrid environments break when nobody owns the whole picture.

Most infrastructure teams are juggling a cloud console, a colo ticket queue, an on-premises NOC, and three different monitoring dashboards. When something breaks at 2 a.m., nobody knows who to call or which layer is the culprit.

Summit manages all of it from one place, so your team stops playing dispatcher and starts focusing on the work that actually matters.

Fragmented visibility
Cloud, colo, and on-premises each with their own dashboards and alerts, and no single view of what’s healthy.
Unclear ownership
When a ticket spans layers, it falls into the gap between your cloud provider’s support and your colo’s Remote Hands team.
Unpredictable costs
Cloud egress charges, colo power overages, and unplanned burst compute make forecasting almost impossible.
What We Manage

Every layer of your hybrid stack, under one SLA.

Summit brings the same management model to colocation, bare metal, private cloud, and public cloud connections.

Colocation

Your hardware in our data centers: racking, cabling, Remote Hands, power monitoring, and physical security, all included. We’re accountable for everything up to your OS.

Bare Metal

Dedicated single-tenant servers with 100% uptime SLAs, OS management, patching, and monitoring. All the raw performance of dedicated hardware, none of the overhead of managing it yourself.

Private Cloud

VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox environments managed end-to-end: provisioning, right-sizing, patching, backup, and DR, with a consistent interface regardless of the hypervisor underneath.

Cloud Connectivity

Private circuits to AWS, Azure, and GCP keep latency low and egress costs predictable. Summit connects your infrastructure in our facilities to the public cloud without traffic touching the public internet.

Network & Security

Managed firewalls, load balancers, DDoS mitigation, and VPN for anything on Summit’s network, with consistent policy enforcement and real-time threat visibility.

Unified Monitoring

One dashboard for everything on Summit’s network. Real-time metrics, alerting, and capacity reporting across your colo, bare metal, and private cloud, so you always know what’s happening and who’s responsible.

Core Use Cases

Who benefits from manage hybrid environments.

Any organization running workloads that span more than one infrastructure layer and needs someone accountable for all of it.

How It Works

From scoping call to fully managed in weeks, not months.

We map your existing environment, close the gaps, and hand you back a single managed plane with a defined SLA on every layer.

1

Environment Audit

We document every layer of your Summit-hosted environment: hardware, hypervisors, networking, and dependencies. No assumptions.

2

Architecture & SLA Design

We define the managed scope, assign SLAs to each layer, and close any gaps before we take ownership.

3

Onboard & Operate

Monitoring agents, alerting, and Remote Hands go live. From here, your team calls one number for anything across the stack.

U.S.-based support. 100% uptime SLAs. One team for your entire hybrid stack.

Summit customers don’t page three different vendors at 3 a.m. They call us. We own the problem end-to-end, whether it’s a physical server in our colo, a VM in your private cloud, or a network path to AWS.

Capabilities

Built into every manage hybrid engagement.

Not add-ons. Standard across every environment we manage.

Single Pane of Glass

Everything on Summit’s network, in one dashboard. Real-time metrics, capacity trends, and alert history across your colo, bare metal, and private cloud environments.

100% Uptime SLAs

Contractual uptime guarantees on power and network, backed by redundant systems and proactive monitoring. Not a best-effort target.

U.S.-Based Remote Hands

Physical hands in our data centers around the clock. Hardware swaps, cable runs, server reboots, and on-site troubleshooting whenever you need it.

Compliance Support

SOC 2 Type II audited infrastructure with documented controls for HIPAA, PCI DSS, and shared responsibility frameworks. We support your compliance program, not just your hardware.

Private Cloud Interconnects

Dedicated, low-latency circuits to AWS, Azure, and GCP keep traffic off the public internet and egress costs predictable.

Flexible Spend Portability

Shift resources between bare metal, private cloud, and colo as your workloads evolve, without penalty and without a new contract every time.

Sometimes it feels like we’re coaching other providers. But with Summit’s staff, we just hand it over. We’ve never had a request that Summit couldn’t meet.

FAQ

Common Questions

What to expect before and after you hand us the keys.

It depends on what you’re running, but typically: colocation with Remote Hands, managed bare metal, private cloud (VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox), network management, monitoring, patching, and cloud connectivity. We scope the exact coverage together before you sign anything.

Infrastructure in Summit data centers carries 100% uptime SLAs on power and network. Managed application layers and private cloud carry 99.99% uptime SLAs. We define these clearly in your contract so there are no surprises.

Most customers are fully onboarded within two to four weeks. Complex environments with many layers or significant remediation work can take a bit longer. We’ll give you a realistic timeline after the initial audit.

Yes. We define a clear responsibility boundary. You retain full access to your systems and can choose which layers you want us to manage. Many customers start with infrastructure and expand managed scope over time.

Yes. Summit holds SOC 2 Type II (AT-101) and supports HIPAA and PCI DSS through documented controls, business associate agreements, and shared responsibility frameworks. We work with your compliance team to map our controls to your requirements.
