Use the Devices You Have. Choose the Devices You Want.

Summit DaaS delivers a full, high-performance desktop from our infrastructure — so the device your team uses to access it almost doesn’t matter. iPads, iPhones, Android tablets, Chromebooks, that Windows 10 machine no one’s replaced yet. If it has a browser, it works.

That means organizations can stop cycling through expensive hardware refreshes. Buy inexpensive thin clients. Extend the life of existing endpoints. Your users get an enterprise-grade desktop experience — powered entirely by Summit’s servers, not whatever’s sitting on their desk.

Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, ChromeOS — all supported
Repurpose legacy hardware instead of replacing it
Pair cheap thin clients with enterprise-grade desktops
No VPN required — access is built in
Consistent experience whether in office, remote, or on mobile

Runs on all of these

Windows PC
Mac
iPhone / Android
iPad / Tablet
Chromebook
Thin Client

If it has a browser or an RDP client, it works.

Why DaaS

What Changes When Desktops Live in the Cloud

DaaS isn’t just a remote work solution — it’s an IT operations upgrade.

Enterprise-Grade Security, Standard

EV SSL encryption, MFA, VPN access, and micro-segmentation are included by default. Data stays centralized on our servers — not sitting on a device that could walk out the door.

Reduced IT Overhead

No more managing physical desktops, rolling out hardware upgrades, or dispatching IT to patch machines. Updates and maintenance happen centrally, automatically.

Faster Onboarding

Deploy a fully configured desktop for a new hire, contractor, or seasonal employee in minutes — not days. No hardware to order. No setup to schedule.

True Business Continuity

When a device breaks, gets stolen, or a building closes, your team keeps working. The desktop lives in the cloud — recovery is a login, not a repair ticket.

Predictable, Scalable Cost

Add or remove users as your headcount changes. Subscription pricing replaces unpredictable hardware cycles, and you avoid the capital outlay of buying new machines.

Compliance Built In

Summit’s data centers carry SOC 2, SSAE 18, HIPAA, and GDPR certifications. Your virtual desktop environment inherits that compliance posture from day one.

App Compatibility

If It’s an App, We Can Host It

Summit DaaS runs virtually any software. We verify compatibility during onboarding — no surprises on go-live day.

Security & Compliance

Security Isn’t an Add-On Here. It’s the Default.

Every Summit DaaS deployment ships with enterprise-grade protections built in. And for teams that need more, Summit Secure Workspace adds a fully managed security layer — ransomware, malware, and breach protection managed by Summit’s team.

EV SSL Encryption — all data in transit protected
Multi-Factor Authentication — required by default
VPN Access — built in, no third-party tool required
Micro-Segmentation — isolates apps to contain breaches
SOC 2 / SSAE 18 / HIPAA / GDPR — certified facilities

Summit Secure Workspace

Optional managed security upgrade that adds active ransomware, malware, and breach protection — monitored and managed by Summit’s security team. Your data stays protected even if an endpoint is compromised.

FAQ

Common Questions

What teams ask before getting started with Summit DaaS.

Any device with a browser or RDP client — Windows PCs, Macs, iPads, iPhones, Android phones and tablets, Chromebooks, and thin clients all work. The performance lives on Summit’s servers, not on the device, so even older or inexpensive hardware delivers a responsive experience.

Shared Desktop puts multiple users on the same dedicated Summit server — everyone gets the same app environment, and resources are shared. It starts at $70/user/month and works well for standardized teams. Dedicated Desktop gives each user their own virtual machine with custom apps and dedicated compute — better for power users or varied workloads, priced based on infrastructure requirements.

In most cases, yes. Summit verifies compatibility with your software during onboarding and testing before you go live. If there are any issues, we flag them early and work with you on a solution. The only applications we can’t support are those requiring remote standalone app delivery outside of a desktop environment.

Our migration specialists handle the transition with minimal disruption to your operations. We work through setup, testing, and cutover with your team — and we’re available throughout to support both IT staff and end users during the transition.

Summit’s infrastructure is built with redundancy to prevent downtime. Our 99.99% uptime SLA is backed contractually — if we fall short, we make it right. Our 24/7 support team responds immediately when issues arise.
