Will it get me in trouble if something gets flagged?

No. The sensitive data is scrubbed before it ever reaches the AI tool. Safe AI is there to protect company and customer data and to help you stay aware of what you’re sharing externally, not to catch you doing something wrong.

What if it redacts something I needed the AI to see?

You’ll see what was redacted and why right away. Reword the prompt to leave out the sensitive piece, or check with your admin about whether that type of content can be allowed for your use case.

Will it slow down my browser or track my browsing?

No. It only inspects what you send to and receive from AI tools. It isn’t logging your web browsing, other tabs, or personal accounts, so you shouldn’t notice a difference in speed.

Which AI tools does Safe AI cover?

All of them, big and small. Safe AI covers ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot, along with thousands of other AI sites your team might reach for.

Can my admin see my prompts?

Admins can see prompts made from your work device, flagged or not. They can’t see prompts made on a personal device, even if you’re logged into the same account you use on your work computer.

Can I turn off or pause Safe AI?

Not on your own. If it’s getting in the way of legitimate work, talk to your admin rather than trying to work around it.
