VMware Private Cloud

The control you expect. The stability you trust. Delivered by Summit.

VMware is still the gold standard for many production environments. If you rely on it for performance, resiliency, or operational consistency, Summit gives you a VMware Private Cloud that feels familiar, runs predictably, and is fully managed 24/7 by people who do this every day.

What’s VMware Private Cloud from Summit?

Summit’s VMware Private Cloud is a fully managed private cloud built on Broadcom VMware. Summit operates the VMware platform, host hardware, network, and storage, and handles patching, monitoring, and day-to-day operations to keep your environment stable. You manage your applications and guest operating systems.

If you’re coming from a public cloud or a colocation environment, we can manage the migration for you. Once you’re live, we take ongoing platform management off your plate so your team can focus on higher-value work.

The result is a VMware-based private cloud with stability you can count on and US-based support you can reach.

Common Use Cases

VMware Private Cloud is ideal for:

VMware demands a level of time, expertise, and attention that can quickly exhaust already stretched teams. VMware Private Cloud from Summit does it all for you.

Teams with apps that rely on VMware and need to modernize without the risk and disruption of rearchitecting applications

Teams who face skill or resource gaps in managing VMware environments

Teams that don’t want to deal with provisioning, patching, monitoring, and supporting a complex technology stack

Bring stability back to your VMware environment

If you’re considering changes around VMware right now, it’s probably not because the platform stopped working. It’s because pricing changed without warning. Licensing got more complex. Renewals started raising uncomfortable questions from finance. And suddenly a stable environment feels less predictable than it used to.

Summit’s approach starts with stability, then choice. We help you migrate VMware workloads into a Summit-managed VMware Private Cloud that preserves the tooling and operational model your team already trusts, while removing the noise that’s been creeping in around licensing, renewals, and platform operations.

Along the way, we clean up sprawl, right-size resources, and eliminate overhead that’s been inflating costs for years. The result is a VMware environment that’s easier to run, easier to budget for, and easier to explain to leadership.

VMware Migrations in 6 Steps

We stage, validate, and test workloads before cutover, giving you confidence at every step.

1. Inventory Check

What’s running, what’s fragile, and what can’t go down.

2. Target VMware Design

Build a single-tenant VMware environment sized for your performance needs.

3. Connectivity + Identity Planning

Network, access, and the stuff that always causes the “why can’t I log in” fire drill.

4. Phased Workload Move

Migrate in waves by dependency, with test windows built in.

5. Cutover + Verification

Confirm app behavior, performance, backups, and monitoring.

6. Stabilize + Optimize

Tune performance, finalize policies, and make the environment boring again.

Included with VMware Private Cloud:

A Stable Home for VMware Workloads

Keeps critical VMware environments reliable while reducing operational burden and risk. No retraining, no forced redesigns, and no breaking muscle memory just to stay operational.

Single-Tenant Infrastructure

Your VMware environment is fully dedicated. No noisy neighbors, no shared hosts, and no resource contention that quietly erodes performance or complicates compliance.

Cost Control in a Changing VMware Landscape

VMware pricing may be in flux, but your operating model doesn’t have to be. We help you right-size resources, reduce sprawl, and make sure cost changes are easier to plan around.

24/7/365 Support

Real VMware engineers, available around the clock via phone, email, portal, or Slack. When something matters at 2 AM, you’re not explaining your environment to a script.

100% Uptime SLAs

Backed SLAs across compute, network, and storage. Because “best effort” doesn’t cut it for production VMware workloads.

Platform Upgrades

We handle host maintenance, patching, upgrades, and version transitions so you’re not stuck running unsupported builds or planning weekend upgrade marathons.

Who manages what in your VMware Private Cloud:

You define how your workloads should behave, and we’ll manage the platform that keeps them running.
