How It Works

Shipping IT Equipment to Summit

You must provide notice for all incoming shipments at least 24 hours in advance. Email support@summithq.com with the following details before anything ships.

Carrier

e.g., UPS, FedEx, freight provider

Shipment Method

Ground, air, freight, courier

Tracking Number

Full tracking or PRO number

Storage Location

Cabinet, cage, or rack designation

Expected Arrival Date

Specific date and time window if known

Number of Boxes

Total piece count for the shipment

Description of Contents

Servers, drives, networking gear, etc.

Related Ticket Number

From portal.summithq.com

Special Instructions

Handling notes, install priorities, fragile items

Shipment Rules

Visibly damaged shipments will be accepted and photographed.

The shipper must pay all charges. No COD shipments accepted.

International shipments must be marked “Free Domicile.”

Summit has the right to inspect the contents of all shipments.

Shipments must be picked up or installed within three business days.

No liability accepted without an associated support ticket.

Summit is not liable for missing or damaged equipment.

Lost package claims must be filed within five business days of receipt.
